scouts

The Scout Group was founded in 1928, is sponsored by St Edmund's Church and is open to all in accordance with UK Scout Association policies subject to the availability of places. Such availability is managed by the Group Scout Leader supported by the Scout Group Executive Committee.

The programmes of activities and events are devised and delivered by experienced, trained and qualified adult volunteers with the Scout Values of Integrity, Respect, Care, Belief and Co-operation at their centre.

Our underlying aim is to enable all members to Gain Skills for Life.

Enquiries regarding expressions of interest in obtaining places for Young People or in volunteering as an Adult Leader or Supporter should be made to the Group Scout Leader, Ted Fairfax, at ted.fairfax@ntlworld.com
