Junior Church
At our 10am service the children in our church family begin the service together in church. After a hymn and brief ‘setting the scene’ introduction to the talk any children aged 3-13 are invited to join our junior church groups in the church hall. They return for Holy Communion and share what they have been doing before the service ends. During baptism services on the 3rd Sunday of the month the children stay in church for the whole service.
Babies, children and families
We welcome children of all ages and their families, and we don’t mind if they move around the church or make a noise. St Ed’s is a welcoming space for all. We have a dedicated play area in our church and there is usually colouring or craft activities towards the back of church during our 10am services.
Little Sparks @St Ed’s Toddler Group
Our toddler group is every Thursday during term-time from 9.30-11.30am in St Ed’s Church. There are toys, crafts, story time and songs. It costs just £3 per family for up to 3 children with each additional child just £1. Snacks and refreshments are included. Everyone welcome!
