JULIAN PRAYER Meeting
Julian Meetings are for those of any denomination who would like to come together for Christian contemplative prayer.
“…….take up your position for prayer and then, having asked the help of the Holy Spirit, be content to wait, patiently, expectantly, lovingly, longingly. Try to realise that this is all you can do for yourself. God must do the rest. See yourself as the parched earth looking upwards, waiting patiently for the rain to fall. You can neither hasten the shower nor determine its intensity when it comes. You can only wait.”
All are very welcome to join a small ecumenical group who “wait” together in St. Edmund’s Church on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 2p.m. and on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 7.30p.m..
Please join us for silent prayer and afterwards to share light refreshments and fellowship.
We meet in the Side Chapel in the church
